Ms. Sharko joined Pine Brook in June 2018. She is a partner, chief operating officer and a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Pine Brook, Ms. Sharko spent seven years at Blackstone, where she was most recently managing director and chief administrative officer of the Tactical Opportunities group. Previously, Ms. Sharko was the chief administrative officer for the Park Hill Group, a division of Blackstone. Prior to her tenure at Blackstone, Ms. Sharko spent 13 years practicing law, most recently as an attorney in Morgan Stanley’s U.S. Litigation Department. Ms. Sharko began her legal career at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.
Ms. Sharko is a member of the North America Advisory Board for the London School of Economics, member of the Board of Visitors at Columbia Law School, and an active board member of two non-profits – TAMID and Soul Ryeders.
Ms. Sharko holds a B.A. with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
Mr. Stukov joined Pine Brook in July 2018 and is the chief financial officer and the chief compliance officer.
Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Stukov was a fund controller at Strategic Value Partners. Previously Mr. Stukov spent seven years at Alinda Capital Partners where he was responsible for the financial reporting and operations of several infrastructure investment funds and co-investment vehicles. Mr. Stukov began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a senior auditor in their Alternative Investments Asset Management practice.
Mr. Stukov holds a B.S. in Accounting from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Kim joined Pine Brook in May 2017 and is head of investor relations.
Prior to joining Pine Brook, Ms. Kim was a principal at Arsenal Capital Partners, a middle market private equity firm focused on investments in specialty chemicals and healthcare, where she was responsible for leading the firm’s investor relations processes. Previously, Ms. Kim was a principal
of business development at Providence Equity Partners and a managing director in the Private Funds Group at Forbes Private Capital Group and Guggenheim Partners. Earlier in her career, she was a portfolio manager for the J.P. Morgan Private Equity Group.
Ms. Kim holds a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Mr. Martinez joined Pine Brook in June 2019 and is the Firm’s general counsel and compliance director.
Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Martinez was a vice president and associate general counsel at CCMP Capital Advisors, LP. Previously, Mr. Martinez was as an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP in the Investment Funds Group and at Sidley Austin LLP in the Investment Funds, Advisers and Derivatives Group.
Mr. Martinez holds a B.S. in Finance from Georgetown University, a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Lee joined Pine Brook in April 2021 and is a fund controller.
Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Lee spent nine years at Lindsay Goldberg where he was responsible for the financial reporting of several investment funds and co-investment vehicles. Mr. Lee began his career at Deloitte, LLP, where he was a senior auditor in their Audit and Enterprise Risk Services practice.
Mr. Lee holds a M.S. and B.S. in Accounting from Lehigh University’s College of Business and Economics and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Shrestha joined Pine Brook in May 2018 and is a management company controller.
Prior to joining Pine Brook, she spent over three years as a senior accountant for Viking Global Investors LP, where she was responsible for managing the operations and reporting for the management company and other corporate accounting entities. Previously, she spent four years at Deloitte, LLP, where she was a senior associate in their Forensic and Dispute Services practice.
Ms. Shrestha holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and Business Honors and a Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas’ McCombs School of Business. She is a Certified Public Accountant, with licenses in both New York and Texas, and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Ms. Zheng joined Pine Brook in January 2018 and is as a director of tax.
Prior to joining Pine Brook, she was a tax manager with Aquiline Capital Partners, where she was responsible for tax reporting and operations for several private equity funds and portfolio companies in the financial services sector. Previously, she spent three years at Silver Point Capital as a senior in the tax group. Ms. Zheng began her career at Deloitte Tax, LLP, where she was a senior tax consultant in the Financial Services Group.
Ms. Zheng holds a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany.
Mr. Teplow-Phipps joined Pine Brook in October 2020 and is an associate on the accounting team.
Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Teplow-Phipps was a senior auditor in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Alternative Investments Asset Management practice.
Mr. Teplow-Phipps holds a B.A. (summa cum laude) in Psychology from Touro College and an M.B.A. from Rutgers Business School.
Ms. Williams joined Pine Brook in June 2018 and is an operations-HR associate.
Prior to joining Pine Brook, she spent two years at Blackstone in the Tactical Opportunities group where she handled recruiting, employee onboarding, administrative training, professional development initiatives and travel and expense management. Previously, she worked at ABC Disney.
Ms. Williams holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bucknell University’s Freeman School of Management.
