Mr. Jackowitz joined Pine Brook in April 2007 and has over 22 years of financial and investment management experience, including 18 years in the private equity industry.

From 2004 to 2007, he was treasurer and chief financial officer of ESL Investments Inc., a Greenwich, CT-based private investment fund with partnership assets of $20 billion. From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Jackowitz was a senior vice president and chief financial officer of Harvest Partners Inc., a New York-based middle market private equity firm with assets of more than $1 billion. Earlier in his career, Mr. Jackowitz spent seven years with various divisions of Schroders plc, where he served as treasurer of the North American parent holding company and the first vice president, finance for the Investment Management Division. He also worked for Coopers & Lybrand.

Mr. Jackowitz holds a B.S. in Economics from the George Washington University and an Accounting degree from New York University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a board member of the Alternative Investment Financial Executives Association.
