Mr. Zales joined Pine Brook in September 2009 and is a vice president responsible for managing Pine Brook’s Investor Relations and Marketing Group.

Mr. Zales came to Pine Brook from Credit Suisse, where he managed relationships with institutional investors in the Customized Fund Investment Group. Before joining Credit Suisse, he was an associate in the Alternatives Advisory and Placement Group at Lehman Brothers, where he worked on private equity fundraising assignments for buyout, co-investment and secondary funds. Earlier in his career, he held various investment banking and fixed income distribution roles at Merrill Lynch and ABN AMRO, respectively.

Mr. Zales graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University and holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
