Mr. Betanabhatla joined Pine Brook in September 2011 and is a vice president on the energy investment team.

Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Betanabhatla was an investment professional in both the New York and Houston offices of CCMP Capital Advisors, LLC (formerly J.P. Morgan Partners), where he specialized in the energy sector. Earlier in his career, Mr. Betanabhatla spent two years with J.P. Morgan, where he was an analyst in the Energy Investment Banking Group. Mr. Betanabhatla currently serves as a co-chair of the Columbia University Young Alumni Fund Development Council and is a member of the Columbia College Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Mr. Betanabhatla holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University.
