Mr. Levin joined Pine Brook in January 2007 to work on investments in the energy sector.  Mr. Levin has been involved in Pine Brook’s investments in Asia Pacific Exploration Consolidated, Common Resources, and Stonegate Production Company.  Mr. Levin has four years of private equity experience and was previously employed by Warburg Pincus, a private equity firm with approximately $35 billion of assets under management.  During his time at Warburg Pincus, Mr. Levin was a member of the Energy Group where he worked with Mr. Newman on prospective investments and existing portfolio companies across the energy sector.  Mr. Levin received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a dual concentration in Finance and Accounting.
