Mr. Krenteras joined Pine Brook in August of 2006 to work on investments in both Energy and financial services, including Pine Brook’s investments in Aurigen Re Capital Limited, Narragansett Bay Insurance Company, Phoenix Exploration Company LP, Stonegate Production Company LLC, and Syndicate Holding Corp.  Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Krenteras spent nine years working in various capacities in the financial services industry.  Mr. Krenteras has worked for JP Morgan’s financial technology venture capital arm LabMorgan as a VP of Portfolio Development, for Bank of America as an interest rate derivatives trader, and for Pedestal Capital, a start-up institutional brokerage for mortgage-backed securities, as the VP of Trading and Business Development.  Mr. Krenteras holds an AB in International Relations from Brown University and an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where he is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.
