Mr. Jackowitz joined Pine Brook in April 2007 and has over eighteen years of financial and investment management experience including ten years in the private equity industry. From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Jackowitz was with ESL Investments Inc., a Greenwich, CT-based private investment fund with partnership assets of $20 billion, where he served as the firm's Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining ESL, Mr. Jackowitz was a Senior Vice President of Harvest Partners Inc., a NYC-based middle-market private equity firm with assets over $1 billion, where he served as CFO from 1997 to 2004. Prior to Harvest, Mr. Jackowitz spent seven years (1990 to 1997) with various divisions of Schroders plc where he served initially as Treasurer of the North American parent-holding company before serving in the role of First Vice President-Finance for their investment management division. He also worked for Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Jackowitz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The George Washington University and an Accounting degree from New York University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
